AB  - Exploration Licence (EL) 24052 was granted on the 8th of August 2004 for a period of six years to explore for manganese. During the third year of exploration it was decided to relinquish ground because of escalating tenement costs. The ground was reduced from 12 blocks (39 km2) to 6 blocks (approx 19.5 km2). No work was completed on the relinquished ground other than a review of the available data for planning purposes.
