AB  - Tanami Gold NL (TGNL) identified the potential for Tanami-style gold mineralisation and Tennant Creek-style copper-gold mineralisation in the Mount Doreen area of the northern Arunta region in 1998 leading to the acquisition of the significant tenement package forming the Mount Doreen Project. Exploration Licences 10063, 10064, 10407 and 22771 were granted on 30 October 2001 to Tanami Exploration NL (TENL), a wholly owned subsidiary of TGNL. EL 23925 was granted on 10 February 2004 to TENL. At the end of the fifth year of tenure, EL's 10063, 10064, 10407 and 22771 were surrendered. EL 23925 was surrendered after two years of tenure. This report describes exploration on the surrendered areas from date of grant. Exploration was conducted by TENL, including a significant amount of surface geochemical sampling and vacuum and RAB drilling at the Weaner Bore, Silver King, Mt Irene and the Mount Hardy Cu prospect. Previous exploration data were also compiled to assist in exploration. No field exploration was carried out on EL 23925. After a data review it was recommended to surrender the remaining areas of EL's 10063, 10064, 10407, 22771 and 23925 based on the geology and previous exploration results.
