AB  - This report describes activities carried out in relation to Exploration Licence 3346 (Majari project) for the year ending 5th September 2006, the sixth year of tenure for the licence. This document also serves as a final report for the tenement, which Cameco surrendered effective 5th September 2006. For details of all previously conducted exploration work please refer to the annual reports compiled by both AFMEX and Cameco for the period 6 September 2000 to 5 September 2005. An addendum to the 2005 annual report was prepared by geologist M Carter and submitted to the department in June 2006. This document contained drill core analytical data relating to the drilling program completed in 2005. The negative exploration results gained from the period of tenure have downgraded the potential of the tenement to host a uranium deposit. As a consequence it was decided to surrender EL3346.
