AB  - EL 24445, covering an area of 3.34 km2 or 1 graticular block, was granted on 7 June 2005. The tenement was taken up for its iron ore potential on the basis of outcropping iron mineralisation lying along strike outside the tenement area. Work undertaken during the reporting year to 6 June 2006 within EL 24445 comprised processing and interpretation of available aeromagnetic data and reconnaissance geological traversing of the tenement area. The aeromagnetic data study indicated no magnetic features possibly associated with iron mineralisation, while the reconnaissance traversing failed to locate any evidence of iron mineralisation within the tenement. It was concluded that no further work was warranted on the tenement and as a consequence the tenement was relinquished.
