AB  - In the initial stream sediment survey 225 samples were collected giving a sample density of 1-2 square km based towards exposures of Murphy Metamorphics. The survey produced a number of low order gold anomalies and several scattered zinc anomalies with one peak gold value of 50.8ppb (Fenceline Anomaly). 47 samples were taken in the area about the peak gold value of 50.8ppm. Repeat sampling of the same site returned 43.4ppm. No mineralised rock was found and soil sampling about the catchment failed to find any anomalous values. Later pits were dug up and down stream of the anomaly. Panning did not return any visible gold and the assays were not anomalous. Follow up of the zinc anomalies did not confirm the initial values.
