AB  - EL 888 was held to explore for limestone suitable for cement / lime manufacture. Reconnaissance mapping and drilling of 27 holes for 1173 feet were undertaken. No Tindall Limestone was located in drill holes or outcrops. It was concluded that surficial cover and /or Jinduckin Formation were too thick in the area. This overburden was excessive to quarry the underlying Tindall Limestone. It was recommended that no further exploration be carried out on EL 888 and the title be surrendered.
