The programme consisted of bulk stream sediment sampling, airborne and ground geophysical surveys, rock-chip sampling and geological mapping. AB - Thirty-two stream sediment samples were collected at a sampling density of one sample per three line kilometres of drainage. The samples were classified into three groups according to the reactive iron, carbon and quartz contents. Threshold values were calculated for each group. Twenty-six closer-spaced bulk stream sediment samples were collected from anomalous drainages. These follow-up samples were collected at a density of one sample per 500 m of drainage. Three anomalous drainages were defined by this more detailed sampling. AB - An aeromagnetic survey was completed over the area, but this was not successful in defining areas of Zamu Dolerite. This was due to the intimate association of the Zamu Dolerite with the strongly magnetic Koolpin Formation. AB - Two rock-chip samples collected from within the EL contained anomalous gold.
