AB  - The programme for 1979 on EL 1600 was initiated to test areas for uranium mineralization of the unconformity-related type deposits of the Pine Creek Geosyncline. The project followed initial mapping, ground radiometrics, and bedrock geochemistry in the Surprise Creek area by Nord Resources. The programme consisted of regional and grid scale magnetometer and radongas surveys and subsequent percussion and rotary drilling.
