AB  - During year 1, aeromagnetic data was acquired from the NTGS. 12 stream samples were obtained from the relinquished portion, with one sample reporting a microdiamond. During year 2 a further 3 samples were collected of which one reported a chromite grain. A 50 tonne bulk sample was collected near the microdiamond positive sample and obtained an irregular microdiamond. Additional stream sampling programs completed in year 4 and 5 were negative. Minor ground magnetic and EM surveys were completed. Part of a detailed aeromagnetic survey was completed on the relinquished area. Base metal exploration on the licence was conducted by BHP and was previously reported, refer cr96-926.
