AB  - 15 heavy mineral samples were collected. All samples were negative for diamonds or kimberlitic indicators. At each of these 15 sites a geochemical sample was also collected. 1 sample has elevated gold and arsenic values and was followed up by an infill BLEG and stream sediment sampling exercise. 21 stream, 19 BLEG and 3 rock chip samples were collected. This confirmed the original anomalous value and defined an anomalous area of 2km radius. Maximum values obtained were 73.5ppb Au (BLEG). A detailed soil sampling program (354 samples) was undertaken with 32 rock chip samples also being collected. A maximum value of 470ppb Au, 470ppm As and 6.5ppm Bi was obtained from the soil sampling. Rock chip sampling returned values to 3.21ppm Au 1.25% As and 78ppm Bi. The gold response has been attributed to narrow zones of quartz veining.
