AB  - EL 9056 is located approximately 34 kilometres north - west of Pine Creek and 15 kilometres east north - east of Hayes Creek on the Burrundie (1416-IV) 1:50,000 scale map sheet.  The geology of EL 9056 is comprised of Zamu Dolerite and pelitic sediments of the Koolpin Formation. Fold structures within the tenement trend north - west to south - east. Previous exploration within the region was completed by Geopeko Ltd., Anaconda Australia, CSR Exploration, Cyprus Minerals Australia, Hudspeth and Co. and Northern Gold N.L. EL 9056 was granted to Dominion Gold Operations Pty. Ltd. on the 5 of June 1995 for a period of three years. The tenement is held by Territory Goldfields N.L., which is now managed by Northern Gold N.L. During the 1996/97 year of tenure, Northern Gold N.L. completed a work program involving digital data acquisition and manipulation to assess the structural geology and determine the best method of exploration to be used on the licence.
