AB  - EL 4767 is held to explore for limestone suitable for lime /cement manufacture. Tertiary limestone is widespread within the EL, particularly along the Elsey Reach. Drilling has shown that although the magnesia content is within acceptable limits, the silica content is too high for this limestone to be suitable for the manufacture of lime. It is recommended that the EL be surrendered at the next anniversary.
