AB  - During the first year of tenure of EL's 4612 and 4613 a photo- interpretation study was undertaken by contractor using recent aerial photography flown by CRAE. Eighteen anomalous geomorphic features selected as possible expressions of exposed or shallow-buried diatremes. Nine of these were investigated on the ground and five loam-sampled, for which results are awaited. An orientation low level reconnaissance airborne magnetic and radiometric survey was flown over the entirety of the Lake Nash Tenement Block. Elevated thoruim responses were recorded on four of the six profiles that cover the tenement areas discussed in this report. Four drainage samples were collected in the east-central portion of EL 4613 during a helicopter supported reconnaissance density drainage gravel sampling programme undertaken in conjunction with sampling on tenement to the east.
