AB  - During the period 13th September, 1984 to 12th September, 1985, Ashton Mining Limited on behalf of the A.D.E. Joint Venture carried out an exploration program in EL 4359 aimed at the location of kimberlite pipes. Work undertaken included an airborne thematic mapper survey, ground magnetics, follow-up loam sampling and diamond drilling of four selected high priority magnetic anomalies within EL 4359. The licence is regarded as holding considerable potential for the location of kimberlite pipes based on the high incidence of microdiamonds recovered through the follow-up sampling program.
