Title: Partial Relinquishment Report for EL29723 from 17 May 2013 to 16 May 2021
Title Holder / Company: Prodigy Gold
Report id: CR2021-0197
Tenure: EL29723
Year: 2021
Author: Rohde, J
Abstract: The relinquished area of EL 29723 formed part of Prodigy Gold NL (Prodigy) [formerly ABM Resources NL (ABM)] Barrow Creek project, which currently comprises Exploration Licenses 8766, 23880, 23883, 23884, 23885, 23886, 25031, 25033, 25034, 25035, 25041, 25042 25044, 26825, 28515, 29723, 29724, 29725, 29896, 30470, 30507 and 30637. The Barrow Creek project is centered approximately 320km NNW of Alice Springs in the North Arunta region and stretches for 236km west to northwest of the town of Barrow Creek. These tenements form the GR162 technical reporting group. The tenement area was selected as it was included in Newmont's Tanami Regional Framework study which highlighted the prospectivity of the area. Prodigy explored the tenement for the potential of gold mineralisation. In the period 17 May 2013 to 16 May 2021 exploration on the relinquished area comprised a project wide reprocessing of aeromagnetic data plus a compilation of a project wide basement geology map. In 2014 potential JV partner Clancy Exploration Ltd (ASX: CLY) ('Clancy') reprocessed aero-magnetic data of the Barrow Creek project area and Dr L. C. Vandenberg included the use of the reprocessed data in his 1:100,000 compilation of a project basement geology map. The May 2021 Barrow Creek project data review concluded in a first voluntary partial relinquishment of 32 blocks of EL 29723, effective from 17 May 2021. The relinquished area of EL 29723 was primarily surrendered due to the situation that it overlies a water course which restricts the access and makes it therefore unlikely to be available for exploration.
