Abstract: EL 27709 Paddys Plain is located 120km east of Alice Springs butting up to the western boundary of Arltunga Historical Reserve (15000 oz 1887-1989). The licence area straddles a seismically defined mantle tapping structure called Mt Isobel Mylonite Zone (formerly Burt Plain - Albarta lineament or BPA). Importantly from west to east the above linear zone of regional tectonism, readily apparent on satellite imagery hosts Winnecke Goldfield, John Bull gold workings (within the licence area) Arltunga Goldfield, Blueys Ag-Pb deposit, Albarta uranium occurrences and Bigglesworth - Austin IOCG prospects along its identifiable 200km length. John Bull gold workings comprise 2 shafts on brecciated quartz-siderite-pyrolusite-limonite (after sulfide) veins up to 10 metre wide several 100 metres long. In 1987, PG3 collared 24m north of the bottom shaft intersected 3 metres averaging 1.9gms/tonne gold commencing from 30m within a chloritic/sericitic/limonitic schistose alteration envelope of 30 metres averaging 0.5gms/tonne gold. A 250m RC drill hole is recommended to test below the above economic intersection. John Bull workings sit on the northern edge of a large Mordor MAIC look-a-like ellipsoidal AMAG anomaly overlain unconformably by Jennings Range NeoproterozoicHeavitree Quartzite. The north trending ridge of Jennings Range quartzite is truncated by Cavenagh Shear zone (component of MIMZ) and is probably 500m thick sitting directly over the interpreted Mordor East AMAG anomaly. It is recommended a ground gravity survey (500m x 500m station spacing) be implemented to firstly determine if the AMAG anomaly has a positive bouger response and secondly how deep is it? A program of historical drainage sampling geochemistry capture, drillhole geo- referencing regional reconnaissance, prospect mapping, rockchip sampling and geophysical survey data reprocessing, modelling and interpretation was implemented over 2011 licence year.
