Abstract: In answer to your letter dated 03/04/1973 regarding the EL 595 you are advised of the following work being performed on the licence. Since the grant date this licence has been extensively prospected and surveyed with the view of tracing Wolfram outcrops to their source. Five men have been working full time on this licence, using 2 4WD Toyota light Trucks and a Caterpillar Front End loader, D8 Bulldozer and 10yd tip truck. An estimated 2000 yards of allivial clint was moved to expose leaders of wolfram. Results of this exploration were disappointing but indications of the existance of a wolfram reef are present and will be investigated further. The working party are moving up to old workings on the side of Wolfram Hill to follow leaders down to expose the reef mentioned above. Future work is intended to be diamond drilling to obtain material for assaying. Costs to date are estimated to be $5500.00.
