Abstract: | Stream sediment sampling has been undertaken as part of a base metal exploration program focused on the Gillen Fault Zone. Some samples were sufficiently anomalous in copper, lead or zinc to warrant follow-up. Known prospects and old workings are described. A gossanous marble south of Queen of Sheba gave 2,880 ppm Cu but no repetitions or extensions were found. The area was also UV-prospected for scheelite. |
