Title: Annual exploration report for EL 23383, for the period 22 April 2005 to 21 April 2006

Abstract: Exploration carried out over the EL 23383 during the reporting period included GIS compilations, further data reviews and compilation of openfile data. The geochemical results indicate a possible affinity to ultramafic lamprophyres. Olivine-rich plugs of unknown age have been reported in the central Northern Territory by previous explorers. This could possibly explain the chemistry observed in the tenement area. The base metal contents were all low. The uranium results are background values for sedimentary rocks however the sandstones, which were probably feldspathic originally, are typically very bleached and porous due to weathering (alteration?). This could lead to leaching and re-deposition at lower levels. While the results are not conclusive one way or another, it would be of interest to drill a hole into the physiographic anomaly just to be sure. This may be possible while a drill rig is travelling through the district.
