Abstract: The Lake Mackay Project is located approximately 460 km WNW of Alice Springs in the Arunta region. Access is obtained via the Tanami Road, the Central Mount Wedge-Newhaven-Nyiripi Road and graded exploration tracks west of Emu Bore to the Lake Mackay Camp on EL 8697. The Lake Mackay Project currently comprises four granted Exploration Licences EL 8696, EL 8697, EL 9442 and EL 9449, all of which were subject to partial relinquishment at end of the third year of term. EL 8694 was surrendered on 21 August 2005. All tenements are registered to Tanami Exploration (TENL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tanami Gold NL TGNL), a publicly listed company. Exploration in the last 12 months has consisted of surface geochemical sampling and data assessment. No significant results were received from the 38 rockchips and 42 lag samples on the relinquished or surrendered tenement areas.
